Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCAn alleged drunk driver wrecked his vehicle into a Houston house, nearly hitting a sleeping toddler on Friday, April 17.

Khou.com reported that homeowner Ryan Kochel said he was in his garage when he heard the crash. The family lives in Garden Oaks, the 1000 block of Chamboard Lane.

“It sounded like thunder and lightning,” Kochel said.

Kochel found a white Lincoln Navigator, driven by 42-year-old Michael McMillan, Jr., partially inside his daughter’s bedroom. The two-year-old received a few scratches, according to Kochel.

“(The driver) was out of it,” Kochel told Khou.com. “When I asked how much he had been drinking, he just said ‘I know, I know.'”

McMillan was arrested by police; he is out on bond.

Kochel told Khou.com his insurance company is still assessing the damage. The Lincoln took out a wall, damaged the front door and broke furniture in the child’s room.
