A wrong-way driver died on I-45 after being hit by an 18-wheeler.
The man was driving a Mustang south in the northbound lanes around 2:45 a.m. Monday.
All lanes of the freeway were shut down briefly after the crash.
According to police, the wrong-way driver died instantly after being hit.
Authorities are unsure where the driver entered the freeway. They received several calls about the wrong-way driver shortly before the accident.
