Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCHouston Police surrounded a southside apartment Monday after a man refused to listen to their commands in a standoff.

SWAT was called to the 2600 block of Holly Hall. Police say the standoff started after the suspect threatened his neighbor.

The man allegedly had a knife, and he was taken into custody without incident early Tuesday morning.

The suspect has been identified by Houston Police as Percy Hines III. Records show that he was charged with the shooting death of a convenience store owner in 2010.
