A Houston minister is accused of sexually assaulting six girls in a civil suit.
Radhames Severino is accused of molesting the girls, ages nine through 16, between 2002-2012 at his church, Ministerios Del Instituto Biblico Elohim (8600 Beechnut).
The lawsuit alleges that Severino began touching the girls inappropriately, escalating into groping them in his office, according to attorney Derek Hollingsworth.
“Every one of these girls has discussed a pattern of behavior that began when many of them were as young as 9,” Hollingsworth is quoted as saying in the Houston Chronicle. “They are all emotionally distraught and incredibly impacted by this conduct.”
