Two men were shot during a block party in northeast Houston on the night of March 15.
Shots were fired at about 9:30 p.m., reports Khou.com, at the party in the 3300 block of Liberty Road. About 500 people were partying in the area.
One man was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition, the other was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Neither man’s identity has been released.
“We’re not sure that the people that were shot were the target,” HPD Lt. Larry Crowson told Khou.com.
The neighborhood was shut down after the shooting so that officers could determine where it took place. Police are still speaking with witnesses.
