Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCSix people died from gunshot wounds in four different incidents last weekend, while a seventh was found shot dead after having been missing for days.

“I’ve been here since ’79 and this is very unusual,” Houston Police Sergeant C. Mosqueda told the Houston Chronicle. “I don’t know what happened.”

No arrests were made.

Houston police have investigated 63 murders this year, slightly under the 10-year average of 65 for January through March.

According to reports in the Chronicle, Damian Smith was shot in his home on Hoffman near Cavalcade at about 7 p.m. Friday.

Two gunshot victims arrived at East Houston Medical Center at about 9:30 p.m., where one of them died shortly afterward.

Kiara Jackson, Demarquise Edwards and Terrell Paynes were found dead inside a north Houston apartment in the 800 block of Seminar Drive at about 11:30 p.m.

On Saturday at about 9 p.m., relatives found Anthony Walton dead with gunshot wounds in his north Houston apartment near Sadler and Curry streets.

At 1 a.m. Sunday, Michelle Garcia was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center with a gunshot wound in her face, and was pronounced dead.
