Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCTexas Molecular, the Deer Park facility that had reportedly agreed to help safely dispose of contaminated water from the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, has received 747,000 gallons of water so far.

A spokesperson from Texas Molecular says that they have the capacity and ability to handle up to 230 million gallons annually of contaminated water. They say that they process about five to seven million gallons of contaminated materials each month.

The Environmental Protection Agency paused sending more of the wastewater to Deer Park while they reviewed the facility and considered the safest options for disposal of the contaminated water.

It’s unknown at this time how much more contaminated water from the train derailment will come to Deer Park, if any.
