Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCWater that was used to put out the railcar fire in East Palestine, Ohio is being transported to Deer Park for safe disposal.

Texas Molecular, a company just outside of Deer Park, is permitted to dispose of hazardous materials such as this wastewater.

About 50 railcars derailed on February 3, which sparked a fire that lasted for days. Several of the train cars were carrying hazardous materials. Crews collected as much of the water used to distinguish the flames as they could for proper disposal.

Harris County residents are concerned about the potentially dangerous water being transported to the area.

Texas Molecular says they are able to handle a project of this size. It’s unknown when the wastewater will arrive in the area.
