According to sources, Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s joint-venture refinery in Deer Park is operating at 87% capacity. Sources say they’re operating at 87% because of low demand for oil during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shell has not determined when they will increase production at the facility.
The refinery is a 50-50 joint venture between Shell and Petroleos Mexicanos. Shell is the managing partner of the refinery.
