Shane Pellerin Law Firm, PCA Deer Park family is warning others after a contractor scammed an elderly cancer patient of more than $19,000.

Charla Goodwin hired an out-of-state contractor to fix her house after Hurricane Harvey had flooded her home with nearly a foot of water.

According to Goodwin, her contractor, Kelvin Robins, created a contract and started the job, but he didn’t finish it.

The contractor has been calling Goodwin and asking her to not share her story.

Goodwin’s family think he’s taking advantage of her.

Robins declined to provide a statement in response to the story.
