A Deer Park family has been on edge since they caught a stranger using a knife to slash nearly a dozen tires in their driveway.
Around 9:40 p.m. on a Wednesday evening, the family’s security camera caught a man using a giant knife to slash the tires of three vehicles.
The family’s home is located on Ellen Drive off of Park Avenue in Deer Park.
After the man slashed the tires, he rang the doorbell and then yelled at the family through the door before leaving in his vehicle.
The Deer Park Police Department is asking for help in identifying the suspect caught on security footage.
