As investigators went deeper into the massive operation, they found pumps, irrigation systems and tent cities, which all formed an elaborate set up.

Polk County Police Chief Deputy Byron Lyons said that someone sneaks onto the property every week to bring the workers food.

Goodrich neighbors have been surprised to find out such a large operation was happening in their backyards.

A hunter getting a deer lease ready noticed the plants and called the police.

Police have cleared 10 fields so far and have found 44,000 plants. They still have 16 more marijuana fields to clear.

Officers are using bulldozers to create makeshift roads to clear out the pot plants. The marijuana plants that are too large will be lifted out by helicopter.

One arrest has been made so far, but no names are currently being released.
