The family of a nine-year-old girl who was recently killed by an alleged drunk driver in Harris County has spoken out.
Salvador Delao, 23, is charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the death of Jade Stephens.
Jade’s family had taken her out for new clothes and other birthday treats, and on their way back home they were struck by Delao’s car, which investigators say ran a stop sign.
Police say the suspect was seen throwing beer bottles from his truck after the car accident.
Jade’s brother Mikhail Cox claims he saw the suspect throwing the bottles from his truck while smiling after the accident.
