A Deer Park man was arrested after police stated that he stole more than $41,000 worth of iPads from a school within the Deer Park Independent School District.
Alexander Garcia was arrested after officials determined that he stole thousands of dollars worth of iPads from Deepwater Junior High School. He listed them for sale on eBay.
According to the Pasadena Police Department, the people who purchased the iPads online would get a message on the screen saying that the item was missing from Deer Park ISD.
Several of the victims are working with the Pasadena Police Department to get the stolen iPads back to Deer Park ISD.
Garcia is out on bond, and he is currently not cooperating with investigators.
