Around 2:30 a.m. Friday police were called to the area of Spencer Highway and Preston Road for a reported shooting. Officers found a car with three men inside, and the car took off to flee from police.
A high speed chase continued onto Gulf Freeway.
The driver of the vehicle lost control of the car and crashed at Gulf Freeway and Park Place. During the chase two guns were thrown out of the window.
Officers say that the driver faces charges of felony evading and the passengers have charges pending against them for the initial gunfire.
