Houston-area Busch beer lovers got some heartbreaking news early Tuesday morning—A crash on Katy Freeway left hundreds of cans of the beer spilling out onto the roadway.
Around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police said an 18-wheeler collided with a car near the Silber exit of the freeway. The truck flipped on it’s side, causing the beer to spill.
Four lanes of the highway were closed for a few hours while the accident was cleaned, but are open as of 4:30 a.m.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but the worst of the accident was the clean up, said Lt. Larry Crowson of the Houston Police Department.
